During August 30th thru September 3, 2021 Pinoleville Pomo Nation Environmental Protection Department held their annual Household Hazardous Waste Stream Characterization event. Due to the Pandemic and people creating more waste at home the community event was a huge success, we extended it an additional three weeks, making it a month long effort. Our staff used this event as a way to educate the community on the items they were discarding and how to better recycle and dispose of through local events.
