Due to COVID-19 this year’s Halloween Event for the Pinoleville Nation looked a little different then it has in the past. While most schools are closed and trick-or-treating was almost non-existent, Pinoleville Pomo Nation decided that instead of not doing anything at all for our students and community, we could still celebrate safely and give the kids something to be excited about. Our Halloween Drive-thru was a complete success!! ALL children left with a bag of goodies, some educational outreach material, and a smile on their face. At the EPA drive-thru booth our Youth Interns were hard at work, they decorated the booth, handed out healthy snacks, along with color books about recycling, and color crayons to approximately 80 children.
